Our Story

For more than 30 years (1984), we have had the pleasure of meeting the irrigation needs of Southeast Georgia, with quality products and professional services and installation. Wade Blueberry Nursery, Inc., originated from necessity when the egg production business took a downward turn. And so in 1980, we transitioned from a chicken farm to plant production.

Three of our 10 chicken houses were converted into propagation beds and very quickly advanced from growing blueberry plants for our field to growing them for sale. Within one year of operation, our inventory exploded to 80,000 one-gallon plants. And for 21 years we operated Wade Blueberry Nursery, Inc. as a nursery, specializing in fruit trees and bushes, flowering plants, and landscape items. Trading with nursery owners across four states, we traveled hundreds of miles annually making deliveries and receiving orders.

Naturally, we purchased and installed a watering solution to protect and grow our assets, and over time, our plant customers became our irrigation customers, as well. And as more and more area farmers chose blueberries as their crop of choice, the need for irrigation materials and services increased, and Wade Blueberry Nursery, Inc., began offering comprehensive watering solutions, including installation and maintenance.

Finally, in 2006 we made the decision to sell the nursery (visit Wade Nursery) and focus solely on irrigation. And…you guessed it, we maintained our name.
